The Citadel Outlets
100 Citadel Drive, Commerce

Downtown Disney
1580 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim

Whether or not you're planning to visit Disneyland during your stay in Southern California, be sure to plan a trip to Downtown Disney ! Disney lovers will delight in the huge Disney Store and the other unique Disney shops like Anna & Elsa's Boutique, Disney Vault 28, D-Street, and the WonderGround Gallery, and the kids will love the hands on shopping at the LEGO Store and Build-A-Bear.

Downtown Disney is also home to many fun dining experiences, from Rainforest Cafe to the Earl of Sandwich to Sprinkles cupcakes and with a movie theater and live outdoor entertainment, there's plenty to see and do! So make a day of it! Parking is free and the whole family will have a great time.

The Packing House
440 S. Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim

Originally built in 1919, the Packing House used to be an actually packing house where citrus fruits would be washed, labeled, packed into crates and shipped out across the country. Today the Packing House still stands, but it has been transformed from a hub of agricultural commerce to a hip food hall and market. At the Packing House you'll find an assortment of citrus-inspired gifts, artisanal wines and pastries, homemade ice cream, and lots of unique restaurants and cafes. Dine indoors, or on the porch or one of the picnic gardens.

South Coast Plaza
3333 Bristol St, Costa Mesa

The largest mall on the West Coast, South Coast Plaza is a luxury shopping destination like no other. Known for its exceptional retail collection and award-winning restaurants, at South Coast Plaza you'll find upscale brands and designers like Chanel, Dior, Tiffany & Co, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, and more, along with family favorites like the Disney Store, Lego Store, and Gymboree.

An indoor mall, South Coast Plaza is a great place to explore when you want to get out of the sun for a little while, or stay dry on a rainy day. The carousel in the carousel court adds extra fun for kids, and if you're visiting during the holiday season or around Chinese New Year you will find South Coast Plaza spectacularly and magically decorated. Be sure to plan for time to visit one of the critically acclaimed restaurants around South Coast. The dumplings at Din Tai Fung are unforgettable, Antonello offers delectable Northern Italian Cuisine, and Hamamori will wow you with its exquisite sushi.

The LAB Antimall
2930 Bristol St, Costa Mesa

LAB stands for "Little American Business" and the LAB Antimall seeks to combat the "retail monotony" they see in the surrounding shopping options in Orange County. If you're looking for a quirky, offbeat shopping experience, the LAB might be for you!

The LAB has one or two stores that  you might recognize, such as Urban Outfitters, but mostly this antimall is made up of smaller local shops like Buffalo Exchange, a recycled fashion store where the inventory changes daily, Heirlooms and Hardware featuring handcrafted furniture and decor, The Little Penguin Shop children's boutique, as well as an assortment of unique cafes and restaurants where you'll find locally sourced coffee, adventurous seasonal menus, and other handcrafted delights.

The Spectrum Center
670 Spectrum Center Drive, Irvine

Named the #1 Shopping and Dining Destination in Orange County in 2016 , by the Orange County Register, The Irvine Spectrum Center is more than just a shopping center - it is a hub of local dining and entertainment. The Spectrum Center boasts the No. 1 comedy club in the US, and is also home to Orange County's most popular movie complex, a 21 cinema Edwards theater with an 8 story IMAX screen.

If all of that didn't already put The Spectrum Center over the top as a fantastic shopping destination, the Spectrum also includes a 108 foot tall Ferris wheel, a Dave & Busters packed with games and HDTV's, and dozens of restaurants and cafes. Fashion Island

You don't have to visit one of Southern California's huge shopping centers to have a successful shopping day. In fact, some of the most interesting shops and restaurants might be right next door. Many, if not all of our local beach towns feature at least one main street lined with local boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, where you can sample local cuisine and find one-of-a-kind treasures. Take a look at just a few of our favorite local downtowns:

  • 2nd Street, Belmont Shore : This charming business district in Belmont Shore, Long Beach has a small-town feel and sunny coastal atmosphere.
  • Balboa Island : Full of quaint boutiques and picturesque homes, Balboa Island is worth a stroll even if you don't buy anything.
  • Downtown San Clemente : One of our favorite local spots, downtown San Clemente has all the laid back charm of a Spanish Village by the Sea.
  • Carlsbad Village : A casual beachy downtown, Carlsbad Village is a great place to visit before or after a trip to Carlsbad State Beach.
